When four officers entered this classy couple’s San Francisco home, 76-year-old Raymond Miller did not budge from the couch where he sat shirtless, watching porn with the volume turned all the way up. Raymond’s wife told the police that she feared for her life. But when the police went to arrest the man, he resisted, screaming “Get out of my house, get out of my fucking house!” The officers then yanked him off the ground by his handcuffs, injuring him in the process.
Raymond sued the officers, citing excessive force. The trial began today. For their part, the officers said that they were following sanctioned protocol, and that the 270-pound man’s injuries — a “minor chip fracture” on his elbow and “a little cut on his wrist” — were minimal. For someone who spends much of his time spite-masturbating, however, an arm and wrist injury can be devastating. So we’ll side with the perv on this one.
