Hopefully Brenda won’t mind that we’re posting her new trailer for the long-awaited DVD re-release of “Welcome To My Home,” which promises… wait for it…
…eight minutes have been added with never-before-seen outtakes. The film is brought up to 2009, with current fashions. Much of the film holds true today. It was just touted as a “cult classic and must see” by New York magazine. It’s a clear master copy, with beautiful saturated color frames, and far superior in quality to what you can view on the Internet.
Hey, the lady’s got to supplement her alimony and keep her new home out of foreclosure somehow! And we can’t wait to see those additional current fashions!

Anyhow, we think Brenda must have a sense of humor about it all, because the new trailer is set to Rick James’ “Super Freak,” and there’s another clip below, similarly self-made by Brenda, with “Welcome to My Home” set to Hole’s “Celebrity Skin.”
* For those who were under a rock: “Welcome to My Home” was a made-for-VHS tour through Brenda’s wardrobe, kitchen and exercise routine, with an emphasis on teaching viewers how to be just as egocentric, “glamorous” and new-rich as Brenda. The video clips, which were a viral sensation on YouTube, were famously spoofed with a new voice-over by our e-hag Deven Green, and these spoofs were subsequently removed from the internet because Brenda threatened to sue Deven, and the rest of the internet, if they ever misappropriated her copyrighted material again. The original clip on YouTube has also been forcibly removed by Ms. Dickson, likely in advance of the re-release.
