According to the Boston Herald, the calls, which feature a message from the non-existant Alliance for the Advancement of Gays and Lesbians, encourage voters to support Mandy Powers Norrell because she believes in legal abortions and gay marriage. The issues of gay marriage and abortion have not been at all central to this particular local race, but the Republican candidate for the seat, Mick Mulvaney–who claims ignorance of the gay-baiting calls–wastes no time in pointing out that the comments by the phony Alliance are nonetheless correct.
“I believe that the statements regarding Ms. Powers Norrell’s positions are accurate. I absolutely condemn the method in which this message was conveyed,” Mulvaney said.
Norrell has stated publicly that she supports neither abortion rights, nor gay marriage. Therefore she is a spineless bitch. The end.
