Frost attended a house party. He posted about it a lot on Instagram. Screenshots made their way to Twitter. People became enraged at him breaking social distancing guidelines. Frost and many other attendees deleted their social media profiles due to the intense backlash.
But the drama didn’t end there! Shit really hit the fan when Str8UpGayPorn tweeted out their take on the controversy.
“My thoughts?” tweeted the blog. “Hopefully they’ll all die from an overdose before they have a chance to infect anyone.”
The tweet was immediately criticized for “wishing death upon a group of people.” Many agreed that while they don’t endorse having house parties during a pandemic, the party-goers don’t deserve to die because of it. Performers and industry members started publicly calling out Str8Up for the insensitive tweet, but the blog doubled down on its stance. Their original tweet about overdosing is still up and active at the time of publication and no apologies have been issued.

Max Konnor
Konnor has been one of the more vocal opponents of Str8Up’s overdose tweet. The star tweeted out a video about the situation last night where he criticized the blog for using their platform to “condemn this group of people to death via drug overdose.” Konnor emphasized this morning that he has not called for a boycott of the site, but wants “to ensure they are held accountable.”

Fitt was one of the first people to seriously call out Str8Up for their overdose tweet. Like Konnor, he also uploaded a video to Twitter shaming the tweet. He also criticized the blog for doubling down and creating a Twitter poll where readers could vote if the “bad people” or “good people” should die.

I have to agree with straightupgayporn blog,He called it out and said what most people are thinking anyways. If you went to a party and willingly exposed yourself to COVID-19 you most likely aren’t that smart. Some of these porn stars are trying to get on a moral high ground, but they really don’t have a leg to stand on because half of them have bigger problems. Overall the comment wasn’t that serious to begin with.
I agree with str8upgayporn’s tweet. Whoever purposely violates stay-at-home orders in this global pandemic deserves the worst. Besides, they didn’t wish them tragedy. They wished them to OD which is what happens sooner or later when you do drugs. If they aren’t doing drugs, they have nothing to worry about.
I too was blocked by Str8Up. No reason I can think of, but I blocked them right back. They aren’t the end all/be all of the porn industry. I’ve found other gay blogs who, as much as possible, treat people with respect. Whatever the reason for the gathering/party, it isn’t Zach’s or anyone else’s business or right to condemn them to death. It’s disgusting and the fact he doesn’t see the wrong in all he’s said makes him an even more grotesque person than I thought he was already. What I find ridiculous about the majority of the responses being posted in response to this article is the hypocrisy in the comments being expressed. Trump, Pence, and the bulk of the Administration are doing exactly the same thing and no one is wishing for them to overdose, screaming that they are irresponsible and selfish. Its wonderful to point out that the party attendees “shouldn’t commit an act that puts people’s lives in danger.” But the Administration’s refusal to wear masks during public appearances, standing far closer than 6 feet, and ignoring company or state orders requiring masks be worn is NO DIFFERENT! The WH is located in DC, it is a residence and an essential business in DC, which means it falls under the quarantine orders of DC.
Lets be honest, most of the responses being posted raging against the attendees of this party because most, but not all, are porn actors. If they had all been first responders at a party organized by a first responder, we’d be disappointed but excuse the bad behavior as having been pushed to far and needed a release.
