New Gay Porn Star Trend: Deleting Your Twitter Account

You haven’t really made it as a gay porn star until you’ve created a Twitter account, amassed thousands of followers, and then abruptly deleted your Twitter account and abandoned all of your fans. OK, so maybe it hasn’t fully caught on yet, but if three makes a trend, deleting your Twitter account and saying “eff you” to all of your fans is a thing now. In the past week, gay porn stars Mason Star, Jessie Colter, and Trey Turner have all deleted their Twitter accounts and fallen off the face of the Earth. Goodbye forever, Mason, Jessie, and Trey!

Presumably, boyfriends Jessie and Trey are still together, but what about Mason and his boyfriend Will Wikle (pictured), whose Twitter account is still active? Did they break up? And if they’re still together, can someone who doesn’t delete their Twitter account at the exact same time as their gay porn star boyfriend even be considered a loving and supportive partner? I don’t think so. So sad! :-(

  1. none of these twitter accounts are deleted. not sure if jessie and trey broke up cant find info on it. trey said on his twitter that only jessie is moving to CO.

  2. when I found out that Jessie Colter’s twitter acc is deleted..I am shocked!! Don’t tell me he is gonna quit the industry…he is my favorite porn star..><

  3. I’m really tired of the exaggerated self importance from most of these models..most of them delete twitter for damage control purposes..it’s not twitter or the industry’s fault that they have horrible personalities..and people see through their facades sooner than latter… these guys need to gt the hell over themselves…

  4. Twitter can be a great tool for marketing and career purposes, but when you’re too emotional for whatever reasons (like drug addiction, having thin skin, being impatient, having too high expectations, etc.) it can backfire, because it can make you look unstable when you engage in twitter flame wars or have your drama exit moments every once in a while.

AFter all the celebrity system works with fake public images that cover up the real person’s strenght and weaknesses which might turn off some consumers / audience members. I assume that also fits for porn stars.

    1. Agreed. The interesting thing with Twitter is that when you have people on your TL everyday talking about work, friends, family, etc., you start to care about them; it’s human nature. So when they disappear without a sign-off or message, it’s strange. These three have given their all to their fans and they deserve to live their life away from the spotlight if that’s what they choose to do now. It just would’ve been a nice move to say something. In Mason’s case, his employer, BF, friends and co-workers don’t even acknowledge his existence anymore – that’s really bizarre. For me, I’d like to know if he’s coming back b/c I only joined b/c of him; I’m not liking the new models they’ve signed lately.

  5. I hardheartedly support the trend- less is more, stop posting your every move and live your life in private people!

  6. Didn’t Ashton Kutcher delete his Twitter account for a hot minute? I guess it’s all trickling down from the Hollywood C-listers.

  7. If there is one thing in this world that is overrated than it is gay porn models with twitteraccounts. But is seems that you are not taken seriously if you do not twitter about your breakfast, pets, and shopping trips. Thank the almighty that most Czech porn boys don’t use twitter.

  8. Maybe they wised up and realized that Twitter is a waste of time. Although I will say that I liked the photos Jessie had on his. I regret not saving some of them.

  9. I think someone here said a few fans were asking Cockyboys about Mason Star and whether he had quit the industry and didn’t receive a response. Mason was showing off a gold/steel Rolex watch and some other luxury goodies on his twitter page. Unless he starts hooking or gets a sugar daddy, that stuff will go into hawk soon enough. Cole Harvey who worked mostly with South Florida porn companies deleted his twitter recently. Tucker Vaughn deleted his twitter account last fall and abruptly quit the industry.

      1. Oh, dear. Auto correct strikes again. Thanks Jill. BTW did you ever figure out where the sticky part of your sanitary pad goes?

    1. Wow that is sad to hear. Other than his crooked teeth, I consider Trey to be physically flawless. I’ve seen his scenes since the beginning of his career and he has just gotten hotter and hotter.

  10. Hmm I usually assume that pornstars delete their twitter accounts when they’re about to quit the industry. I haven’t been hearing a lot of activity for both Jessie & Trey, so who knows.
