Melania Trump Staffer Fired Over His ‘Lively Grindr Account’

Here’s a really random story I bet you didn’t expect to read when you woke up this morning: A gay White House staffer that worked with First Lady Melania Trump was reportedly fired over their “lively” Grindr account and Melania did nothing to stop it! (Actually, there’s a good chance you did wake up this morning and expect to read something that ridiculous, so never mind…)

Former White House aide Stephanie Grisham reveals this tidbit of Grindr info in their tell-all memoir I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in the Trump White House. According to Insider, the book reveals that one of Melania’s staffers was axed after the “Grindr account was discovered during the security clearance process” in March of 2018.

“Whoever determined security clearances had come across his Grindr account and decided that some of the stuff on it would be ‘personally embarrassing’ to Mrs. Trump,” Grisham wrote. (Side note: If the existence of a basic Grindr account is “personally embarrassing” to the First Lady, then we can’t imagine how embarrassed she’ll be when she discovers all the porn parodies starring her and Donald Trump.)

“To this day, I don’t know if the decision went all the way up to General Kelly, although he was the type of guy who liked top-to-bottom control, so it was certainly possible,” she added. “I do know that one of Kelly’s deputies was well aware of what had happened and supported the decision, something that enraged me on many levels.”

Along with John Kelly, the author also blames Melania for the firing of the staffer, who remains unidentified. Insider reports that while Melania acted “angrily” over the Grindr firing, she “ultimately did nothing” about the situation.

“If she had really wanted a staff member back on her team, if she had been truly outraged, she could have done something… She didn’t,” Grisham wrote. “If the person had truly been removed solely because he was gay and had a lively Grindr account, that was wrong. This was a White House filled with adulterers.”
