LADY GAGA JOCKSTRAP

Lady Gaga Is Selling Chromatica Jock Straps Because Gay Rights

Last week, Lady Gaga dropped a shitload of merch to promote her newest album, Chromatica. And when we say a shitload, we mean a shitload. There’s Chromatica sweatpants, Chromatica socks, Chromatica mugs, Chromatica throw pillows, and even a Chromatica thong. There’s something for everyone… except us jockstrap-loving gays!

Well, worry no more! As of today, we officially have a Chromatica jockstrap!

The jock comes in bright pink, features screen printed Chromatica graphics, and retails for $30. And yes, that’s kinda expensive for one jock, but you also get a digital download of Chromatica with your purchase… so that’s something!

And while this is all very exciting, don’t expect to be wearing your Chromatica jock the first time you listen to the album. The website says your order may not ship for 4-5 weeks, so realistically you’ll be wearing it on your 400-500th listen.

This long-anticipated album is currently expected to drop on May 29. It was originally supposed to be released on April 10, 2020, but was put on hold due to the current pandemic. Gaga and her team haven’t said if any upcoming music videos are being pushed back because of the pandemic, but we do know Gaga was supposed to make a surprise Coachella appearance that will now probably never happen.

So far all we’ve heard from the album is the lead single Stupid Love – and a couple of leaks that we probably shouldn’t talk about. The album features 16 tracks and was announced to have features from Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, and Elton John. There’s also supposed to be three bonus tracks on the Target exclusive version of the album.

Unsurprisingly, the gays of Twitter had a lot to say about Gaga’s new jockstrap merch. Check out some of the funniest reactions below and let us know your opinions on the Chromatica jock in the comments below:
