Earlier this month, a who’s-who of San Francisco drag celebrities joined forces at Manny’s for arguably the most important fight of our lives as they helped to increase voter turnout in a crucial swing state.
Manny’s is a “people powered and community-focused meeting and learning place” in the heart of San Francisco. Located in the Mission District, it combines a restaurant, political bookshop and civic events space. And in the lead-up to this year’s presidential election, it has been busier than ever. That was no more apparent than on October 13th, when it hosted “Drag Democracy Hour.” The 18 Bay Area drag queens were led by our own Sister Roma, who thanked Manny Yekutiel (the owner of Manny’s) and drag queens Honey Mahogany and Grace Towers for organizing the event.
The queens wrote nonpartisan letters to registered Democrat, low-turnout voters in Michigan—an important swing state—encouraging them to get out and vote in 2020. “As of today, I’m extremely proud to share that Manny’s has reached their goal, mailing 25,000 letters!” shared Roma. “As we approach the most important election of our lives, record numbers of early mail-in and in-person voting has already happened but we still have 15 days to election day. It’s not too late to pitch in and rally voters!”
Roma, Yekutiel (aka Tonya Turmeric), Towers and Mahogany were also joined (among others) by fellow queens Juicy Liu, Mara Guevara, Poison Oakland, Hennessy Williams, Countess Katya Smirnoff-Skyy, Kipper Snacks, Trangela Lansbury, Foxxy Blue Snacks, Afrika America, Militia, Amoura Teese, Rebekah Kahlo, The Only Rexy and Frida Mont. I’m a gay man living in Michigan and I know a lot of gay people . Let me tell you were not voting for Biden , Period ! Look at your city people shitting on the streets , what a joke you are to our community . You keep voting this idiot Pooplosi into office , What the hell is wrong with you people . Wake up. Your city USED to be the nicest city in California , not any more. 46% of gay men are voting for TRUMP . You need to wake up and stop following your do nothing for the people Democrats .

I would have thought all the ” decent gays ” would have fled the city long ago along with the bamboozled African Americans and Latinos. Well, with a little luck in a few weeks there will be a large suite of rooms for you at Maralago !!! so long ass wipe!
I recently saw this and as expected it was nothing more than a clown show. Not to be negative but like so many events like this it was clearly one sided. It might surprise people but not all gay people are liberals. There are many gay conservatives in the San Francisco gay community who’ve seen just what the liberals are doing to the city and are sick and tired of being looked at as easy votes come election time , and easy to be pandered to.. Over the years they’ve realized all the BS the liberals have shoved down our throats over the years to get our votes and pander to us were not always true. It seems the liberals tolerate us along with the Latinos and blacks as long as we vote for and support them. I ask my fellow San Francisco residents the following question: Just what have ‘progressivism’ and the liberals done to make living conditions here better. and sadly the answer’s they’ve done nothing but let it become an unaffordable bum infested and crime ridden CRAP HOLE that’s seen much better days, sad to say
