Well, here’s one way to get people talking about a radio show (not to mention an entire form of media), that no one even knew existed. Not that Carson Daly is smart enough to have staged a joke like this. A joke, by the way, that would’ve been a hit in the 70’s or 80’s. Perfect for radio, I guess.
But who was actually listening to a Carson Daly radio show? I’m more embarrassed for them than any gay person who might have been offended. And GLAAD is offended, of course, so that should get Carson Daly 24 hours of dumb blog headlines like this one, and then everyone can go back to forgetting who he was, forever.
Seriously, though…
Who is Carson Daly?
I don’t listen to radio since the invention of the iPod.
It was kinda funny. Gave me a chuckle anyway. However it does resort to the stereotype that is usually considered a derogatory one, that is the part that makes it offensive to some. After I chuckled, I realized that I really didn’t like it either.
“Can we get a little help up here with the pilot? Oh no, no THANK you. Handle it!”
It was worth a chuckle, although the “break a nail” comment was stupid stupid thoughtless filler. Gay men I know aren’t prissy about their nails.
who is this person and why should I care?
Well, I guess this has made EVERY web page.
I agree with Mr Man. And I agree with Richard Pryor: “I’ll laugh at ANYTHING if it’s funny and it made me laugh, man.”
This wasn’t and didn’t. But I’m not mad.
Oh, we are easily offended these days. I don’t think it was anti gay.
Ya know, there was a gay guy on flight 93. His name was Mark Bingham, Carson! Google it, stupid!
Who is Carson Daily?
Exactly
The comment is not anti-gay. Lame though. Isn’t Carson gay? Was that not a tangential confirmation of his orientation?
Odious turd.
Who’s the annoying female in the background? “Oh, I might break my nails!” I’d like to break my foot in yo ass, ya dumb bitch.
