Alicia Silverstone Is Also In the Bryan Kocis Murder Movie

The full cast has finally been revealed for King Cobra, just as the (clearly low-budget) film completes filming, two weeks after they began.

The movie, as discussed earlier, centers on the murder case of Cobra Video owner Bryan Kocis (Christian Slater), the man credited with “discovering” Brent Corrigan (at the age of 17, portrayed by Disney star Garrett Clayton), and who subsequently became the target of a 2007 murder plot by a former male escort and rival producer, Joe Kerekes (played by James Franco) and his boyfriend Harlow Cuadra (Keegan Allen).

Some of the cast and info is finally up on IMDB, but as Deadline Hollywood now reports, Alicia Silverstone is in the cast as well in an unnamed role.

Molly Ringwald, as previously announced, plays Kocis’s sister. And this now means that the cast is littered with former teen stars, with Franco, Slater, Ringwald, and Silverstone all having become famous in teen movies.

Here’s a hot new promo photo of Garrett Clayton as Brent Corrigan.

Here’s an Instagram of Clayton trying to look actor-y with Slater beside him.

Also in the cast, and news to me, is cute young twink Sean Grandillo.

The writer-director of the film is Justin Kelly, whose debut film I Am Michael, about the odd case of openly gay activist turned conservative Christian ex-gay Michael Glatze debuted on the festival circuit this year also starred Franco as Michael.

The release date of King Cobra is, of course, unknown.
