This is why gay-themed movies fail, the main characters are always bizarre, abnormal or just fucked up. Just once I’d like to see some real gay men who aren’t crazy caricatures.
The trailer didn’t make me as interested in this movie as the description that Paul wrote.

Well said, Spongey. Not every homosexual has had a tortured existence, yet when we are in films, they want to make us drag queens who ran away from home, hookers, or evil predators. I know the lives of normals fags don’t sell, but it would be nice to once and a while see a gay on screen who isn;t a stereotype.
It lost me at the tinkly piano music. I detest pathos ridden gay movies.
I saw this film earlier this year and it’s actually pretty good – sexy, engaging, and totally different to the usual earnest, white bread pap we get in gay-themed movies.
Anyway, how can you queens judge a movie if you haven’t seen it? Sounds kinda prejudiced and close minded, to me.
And who the hell wants to see more “real gay men who aren’t crazy caricatures” and “normal fags” – how fucken boring is that?!
No wonder TLA is broke.
