What the World Needs Now Is More Gay and Tranny Animals

So it’s with no small amount of relief that we come upon stories like this one, about a couple of gay flamingos who were given their own foster chick to raise after they’d spent six years trying to adopt/steal some offspring of their own; or this one, about a couple of gay penguins who, in lieu of adoption rights, have resorted to stealing eggs from the straights.  Did you know that male flamingos can feed chicks by producing milk from their throats? Neither did we!! And don’t you feel better about things now?

If that’s not enough, how about devoting a few minutes to the tranny animal kingdom: there’s the story of this she-male polar bear in Japan; and we previously noted the plight of this F2M chicken in England.  We’d now like to note how three of the four above stories all involve *British* animals. Discuss.

And if all that doesn’t quench your thirst for queer beasts, swing on by the Oslo Natural History Museum for this whole exhibit about gay animals.  We’ve come a long way from gay sheep, ladies.
