We were most amused by this quote, in a piece about the Delhi celebration in Time:

“It’s been great fun,” said Mather George, an anthropologist from San Francisco, “I missed the dykes on bikes, the naked people and the music, but I guess they’ll get there!”

OK, Mather! We’re not so sure ourselves that “dykes on bikes” is a concept that’s going to translate across cultures, but, um, you’re the “anthropologist.”
