“I Didn’t Want TO be In The Press again”

garrett

Oh?

A cast member of the gay reality TV show “A-List Dallas” tells The Daily Caller that he was punched to the ground and bloodied Friday night by someone vandalizing his car because he’s a gay conservative associated with commentator Ann Coulter. [...] Garrett said he begged the police not to put his name on the police report, because “I didn’t want to be in the press again about this,” but his friends convinced him otherwise.

LOL. Don’t you love when someone tells you that they don’t want to be in the press…while giving an interview to the press. Also, isn’t something like this par for the course for a reality star, the whole “getting punched in the face” thing? I say he deserved it–not necessarily because he’s a conservative, but because he’s on a reality show.

And then there’s this:

Taylor Garrett, a Republican consultant in Texas who stars in the reality series on the channel LOGO TV, said in an interview that he was attacked outside a birthday party in Dallas after finding a vandal scratching “F–k Coulter” on the side of his car. Garrett said the incident reflects a troubling mindset.

“The Democrats want me to live on their plantation as their slave, because I’m a gay person,” he said. “And I refuse to do that.”

Slave analogies are no doubt always welcome. But, I’m not so sure that this whole incident isn’t just another reality show stunt, “police report” or not (if you think people don’t file fake police reports, think again). So, I call bullshit.

And, I’m not so sure that Taylor Garrett is really a Republican, either. What are some of his conservative values, other than having lunch with Ann Coulter and allegedly getting rocks thrown through his window? What has he said or done to support the Republican party? If he’s done anything at all, he sure isn’t trying to draw your attention to it. Instead, he talks about how everyone hates him. How is that helping Republicans? What has he said or done to express his political ideology, other than complain about Democrats attacking him? Because complaining about how Democrats won’t accept you and getting the shit beat out of you doesn’t really make you a Republican, it just makes you a pussy.

Remember fellow homocon Jimmy LaSalvia and his phony “pushed off a bike” incident? Maybe if gay Republicans worked harder at defining and advancing their party’s agenda, they wouldn’t have time to get into all these little tiffs.

Sounds like a Republican to me…

  2. Kelo says:

He’s annoying on the show (everyone is actually) so I don’t feel as bad for him.

  3. Bull says:

A publicity stunt. Probably orchestrated by the far right so they claimed THEY are the victims of a hate crime. I view people like this taylor character as much of a enemy as any other “conservative”(pro wall street, anti government, couldn’t give a shit about real people, gay hater, etc. you get the picture!).

He is the gay version of “uncle tom”.

  4. Mike says:

Please, it’s show-business, they probably just got the green-light for a second season -just in time for the 2012 elections….hhhmmmmm The only bad publicity is no publicity.

Though I hate myself for it, I can’t help but watch these (they make me feel I might have it more together than I thought did!) Although of these “A-Listers” so far have been complete messes, THIS guy comes across as downright EVIL on the show. They say editing is everything but he’s manipulative, hateful and borderline sociopathic in the way he mimics emotion to get what he wants. Dudes like this are my worst nightmare. UGH!

    • Steve454 says:

Exactly. It’s almost scary the fact that he considers himself a devout born-again Christian. Yet he is devoid of any and all empathy for others. Sociopathic is is exactly right. I wonder how many more are there like him in the church. That’s just creepy.

This kid is ridiculous. What uber-powerful Washington influencer allows video showing his knees in the air and having laser hair removal from his ball sack on a national TV show? Let’s face it, both political parties are seriously fucked up. It’s one thing to vote republican, and there’s probably going to be a ton of Democratic party abandonment this election from the looks of it. I certainly won’t be voting Obama this time. But it’s another thing entirely to raise money unconditionally for conservative causes. I think it’s about time that there be some defined conditions in exchange for our support.

  7. GMan says:

So violence is accepted when you disagree with someone’s position on something? Violence is violence no matter how you look at it. No matter if I agree or disagree with opinion’s of others it doesn’t give me the right to commit a violent act on them. If this is a publicity stunt then that is just down right stupid. To support a violent act upon another person is stupid as well.

  8. seaguy says:

Maybe if he was not such an arrogant bitch on the show he might not be getting so much anger directed his way. You reap what you sow honey!

  9. Blue says:

He is so fucking annoying! His nasal/muffled voice is a complete torture to me! I watch the show to be entertained by this irritating little annoying clueless whore’s antics! Yes’ I’m a masochist!

  10. Bla says:

Oh, let’s face it…we know all the rich gays are Republicans… and the angry gays Democrats.

  11. jessi says:

“What are some of his conservative values, other than having lunch with Ann Coulter and … What has he said or done to support the Republican party?” I watched a little bit of some of the episodes, and from what I gather, he is a fundraiser for conservatives. He probably has an ol’ dirty closeted politician as a sugar daddy paying his bills.

  12. Rocco says:

    Slave Plantation:
What about the – CONCENTRATION CAMP – republicans have him in?!

He’s no different than the jews that helped the Nazis’!

Ann Coulter is Eva Braun sent to the camp to tell them everything’s okay, it’ll all be over soon!
