After noting Logan McCree’s recent Twitter activity — discussing how even though he still likes sex with men he “lost his gay membership” for various reasons including a love for eating pussy — a good number of Sword commenters jumped all over him. Well, he has a few words for each of you. And a whole lot of words for some of you.
First of all, he calls the Sword piece “a stupid article full of half-truths” and he’s incensed by all the “stupid comments” (welcome to the internet!). In response to my saying that he is a “DJ, massage therapist and actor in the UK” — which by the way comes directly from his Twitter profile, Logan replied in the comments, “I don’t work as a DJ or actor in the UK.”
Well, Logan, maybe it’s time to update that profile…
I wouldn’t normally do this, but since Logan took the time to systematically respond to just about every fucking comment on the post, and write a lengthy response to the post itself that still doesn’t disprove any of what I said, I’ll just repost his responses here, and continue to rebut his rebuttals.
He denies that he was “shacked up with a woman in Scotland,” as I put it. But he lives in Scotland now, says he’s spent two years building his own house there (in a town called Durness). And he was living in Scotland back in 2011 when he gave this interview to a lady named Sue saying that he was currently in a relationship at the time with a woman who had been a make-up artist on a set he was on in another country. My mistake if “shacked up” was inaccurate, but it was implied.
And, like virtually every other gay porn star who likes having sex with both men and women, he refuses to be called “legitimately bisexual,” as I called him, saying, “I personally don’t like boxes like bisexual.” FINE. You like sex with men, and with women, apparently equally. Whatever.
He would also like us all to know that he was for some reason offended by my saying he was “touting his health at age 37” and still looked good despite not going to the gym for three years. “What’s wrong with being happy about living healthy?” he asks. “I dont drink alcohol, don’t smoke don’t do drugs, I’m vegetarian, don’t do steroids, don’t drink coffee or black tea and I don’t fuck bare. And I like to live this way… The next gym is 2 hours away from where i live and I just bought myself a homegym this week.”

Two points I’d like to add: First, since you mentioned the “bisexual erasure” thing, I’m finding that more and more bisexuals themselves (specifically men) are guilty of this, and fewer and fewer gay men are guilty of it. I’ve been surprised to meet quite a few men who identify as gay but then proceed to describe themselves in ways that clearly indicate they are bisexual. However, if I bring the subject up (example: “It sounds to me like you’re more bisexual than gay”), they insist they consider themselves gay because…well, the reasons vary (“I really do prefer guys, especially for relationships” is a common one).
Secondly, I’d love to hear you elaborate on how your bisexual partner was able to get past his aversion to having a relationship with another man and end up committing to you for the long haul…if you’re willing to do so.

My brother married an man (and they are still married) who defined himself as straight up to this point. My brother was his first gay experience. A few months ago I might have agreed with you, but recently I attended the wedding of friends in the Pittsburgh MAsT community (a gay couple)lots of their friends in the MAsT and leather community were present and after the wedding I was introduced to another married couple from the DC area, who are in a Master/slave relationship.
The Master in the relationship is straight, still identifies as straight.
He is an instructor in the MAsT community in the DC area that services both straight and gay singles and couples and he and his partner met at the workshop and after almost 2 years of working together and getting to know one another, they fell in love and decided to get married.
He freely admits he thoroughly enjoys having sex with his gay partner, but he has zero sexual interest in other males.

I was OUT since i was 19. I was out in the military, in my job, amoungst friends and family. Nobody made me feel bad about it and I didn’t feel bad about it. I find it to be a bit homophobic when a (bisexual) guy says that he can’t be in a relationship with another guy. Jaxton Wheeler presents the same issue, that he’s bi but feels that women are “softer” than men. Being in a relationship with a guy is no different than being in a relationship with a girl, and the fact that Mr. McCree felt that he couldn’t give himself fully to a guy speaks to some internalized homophobia — especially with his stated view that children would be better with a mother and father, an opinion that the social sciences and research does not back up.

Saying “our community has been critical about everyone and everything” is silly. Most cultures have similar universal issues (sexism, valuing youth and beauty, and class inequalities. Minority groups also battle racism among their own, caste systems/class inequalities gender role issues, etc…. You don’t have to think of yourself as an oppressed minority to know that these are real issues and they happen all the time.

Actually you said nothing and really didn’t have a point to make other than gays are mean and bad. The fact that you use the word hater shows your critical thinking skills never evolved past the 5th grade.

Don’t judge the Gay Community by the comments made by the compulsively jealous negative losers who frequently post on Gay Blogs. Most of the real gay people that I know are friendly and supportive of one another. They indeed come together to achieve many positive things for the LGBT Community.
I know, the LGBT group here in the Highlands is a nice bunch of people and because its a small group they are more open I would say

It is a mean-spirited, celebrity-obsessed society. That applies to the broader society, which includes the LGBTI group as a sub-set. The only commonality in the LG sub-set is same-sex attraction. Everything else can be, and probably is, different.
Mean-spirited unfortunately seems to be the American way. Success is measure by material trappings and the number of “likes” on the Book of Face. Much effort is now spent on posting the right “selfie” on Instagram to create the “right” image. In the meantime, people freeze to death in the streets. And has-been porn models try to reinvent themselves doing the same old. Sad.
I think you find more mean spirited people on the Internet than in the real world. Most people in the real world deal with each other in positive ways. The anonymity of the Internet makes loud mouths out of many weaklings who would be afraid to say mean things to a person’s face for fear of the black eye they would richly deserve.
If only that were true. If there were not so many mean-spirited people in the “real” world then 80% of wealth would not be concentrated in 1% of Americans, for example, or the average American income would not have been flat for the past 20 years, for example, or you would not walk the streets of any American city and dodge beggars because there is an inadequate social system to look after the less advantaged. No, real America is not mean-spirited at all.
Yep. America is indeed a flawed society. The left wing democrat in me, agrees with much of what you said. One of the main reason the American Economic system favors the rich is because about half of the American electorate choose not to use the power of their vote, even in Presidential Elections. They stay home on Election Days and allow entrenched minorities to claim most of the goodies. In the recent elections when all 435 House Seats and 1/3 of the Senate Seats were up for grabs, about 2/3 of the American People sat on their asses and didn’t even vote.
