Lassie Star Tells Story of Being Molested By Sal Mineo

If we’re to take Provost’s side of the story at face value, he was pals with Sal in the mid-60s and he was having sexual relations with Sal’s “girlfriend,” Susan, “with Sal’s blessing.” Though the specifics of the circumstance aren’t given, Provost claims that Sal jumped into the bed with him and Susan while they were getting it on and forced him to do some poppers.

The room was spinning, my heart was racing, and I felt like my head was going to blow off. Sal was holding me down and trying to sexually assault me. I was almost incapacitated but still fought him off. I finally got out of his grip and got out of there, but I was furious. Our friendship was over.
