Harlow Cuadra Murder Trial Delayed As He Trades Public Attorneys for Private Ones

If you aren’t already up to speed, here are the Cliff’s Notes to this crazy-ass story, which culminates in Brent Corrigan wearing a federal wiretap to a nude beach. (Here, you can also listen to Cuadra doing a recent phone interview for here! Networks’ porn star doc series.)

34-year-old Joseph Kerekes, Cuadra’s former accomplice and boyfriend, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for his role in the murder. Last Monday, Kerekes was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

But rather than follow in his former boyfriend’s footsteps, Cuadra, 27, has decided to stand trial. Problem is, his court-appointed attorneys were total cock-teases. Twice they’ve asked to be dismissed from the case, citing economic difficulties.

This morning, the judge decided to permit the two attorneys to withdraw. Harlow has hired two private attorneys to replace them. The trial, originally slated to begin on January 5th, will now begin on February 17th.
