The annual furry frolic known as “Bear Week” kicks off tomorrow in Provincetown. Ahead of that there has already been a marriage proposal, a new dance anthem – and plenty of bears having sex!
In P-Town this week there will be bears (35+ and thick+), otters (hairy, slim, younger), wolves (aggressive otters), cubs (young with bear potential) and now even ‘bruins,’ which according to Maximum Awesome, are bears without the bulk. Then there are the men who love them … the chasers.

Some bear-mentum actually stared building yesterday at Comic-Con in San Diego. Billy Bishop, makeup man for the web series Con Man popped the question to the show’s visual effect artist, Billy Brooks, while a crowd of 7,000 cheers them on.
