“A-List” Grand Opening @ Trigger
2344 Market Street
Friday, 10PM – 2AM

Join Antoine and his A-List Martini Night crew, as well as owner Greg Bronstein for this grand pre-opening benefit event for Trigger (formerly Jet).  It’ll be fun to get a peak at what’s been done to the space (we hear there’s now a dancefloor and that it’s being billed as an “upscale” lounge), and it’s a benefit for an org that, uh, takes people with HIV/AIDS on rafting trips. Wtvr.

Charlie Horse – Liz Taylor Night @ The Cinch

Friday, show at midnight, 2-4-1 drinks from 10 to 11PM

Join Lady Bear for this “interpretive” tribute to that great, boozy, barely lucid, former superstar, Elizabeth Taylor, featuring the drag stylings of Jiz Taylor, Mutha Chucka, Jordan Lamore, Glamamore, Lil Miss Hotmess, Opalteen, Miss Nix and Liza with a P.

Lip Service @ The Castro Theatre
429 Castro Street
Saturday, 8PM – 11PM

The big AIDS/Lifecycle benefit of the season, featuring local drag queen bees Heklina and Peaches Christ along with the imported talents of Cazwell, Lady Miss Kier, Jackie Beat and NYC’s favorite new drag queen Peppermint. Tickets $24 and up.

Honey Soundsystem vs. Tubway @ Paradise Lounge
1501 Folsom Street
Sunday, 8PM – 2 AM

The DJ collective known as Honey Soundsystem will be taking on the DJs behind the NYC Saturday party at Mr. Black known as Tubway, Gant Johnson and Nita. Expect rhythmic bloodshed, and a lot of stoned/drunk hip kids getting down for one last time before the weekend’s through.

331 W 51st
Saturday, 4PM – 4AM

DJ Corey Craig and the Hell’s Kitchen preppy mafia will be out, as per uje, boozing it up at this place, most of them probably unaware that it’s an anniversary unless there are balloons. Also, special surprise guest performances and $5 beers from 12AM to 1AM.

Area (Code) @ Greenhouse
150 Varick Street
Sunday, 4AM

It’s an after-hours party for the truly coked up and wasted, from host Timmy Regisford and featuring revolving DJs and performers. We’re not sure if you stay past brunch whether they just let you nap in the corner until Vandam starts or what.
