Soap Operas Recruit Homos to Play Homos

This follows, of course, on the ratings success of Luke & Noah Fuck Watch ’08, which included the casting of gay actor Van Hansis as Luke

First there’s the former teen heart-throb Thom Bierdz. Producers demanded that he stay in the closet when he starred in The Young & The Restless in the 80s. His character died, but now Bierdz is returning to the show after all these years because it turns out that his character really didn’t die! What really happened was his character faked his death because he couldn’t handle being gay, but now he’s fine with it so he’s back, everybody! We can’t wait not to watch.
Another homosexual to participate in this gay casting blitz is Scott Evans, brother to Chris Evans, the painfully hot star of Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four and a former Sword Torso of the Week. Scott, who will star in ABC’s One Life to Live, recently endured a staggeringly boring interview with The Advocate (sample question: “What are your thoughts on Prop 8?”), describing himself as “very” single and admitting that he discourages Chris from accompanying him to gay bars to spare his straight brother the tabloid rumors.
Joining Chris on One Life to Live is a Broadway actor named Nicolas Rodriguez. His first episode appears August 14th. Get the Kleenex ready!
