The Mother City Queer Project gala in Cape Town, now in its 14th year, is the largest gay event in Africa.  Much like everything else in the gay universe of the last decade, the theme of the December 20th event is Old Hollywood. Over 5,000 people attended last year, and Lukas’ appearance this year will likely draw an even larger crowd. Though he has since retired from performing, Lukas shot 2005’s Lukas In Love in nearby Camps Bay, and he continues to edit and direct for Bel Ami. He also continues to be ridiculously hot.
