Continuing his efforts to fill the webiverse with pseudo-philosophical drivel that’s discussed without his shirt on, former porn star and generally weird hot person Chip Tanner brings us a new video in which he directly addresses viewer criticisms and questions.
One big question: Is he high? If you take a look at Sword commenters’ thoughts when we posted a bunch of his video oeuvre (including the one where he eats his own shit), there are a couple of references to drugs, including “crystal mess,” and assessments of his mental state range from “batshit” to “organicly [sic] crazy.”
I personally don’t think he’s actually crazy. I just think he’s an intellectually frustrated and under-educated young man who’s self-taught himself some philosophical concepts and likes to apply some rational (albeit occasionally disturbing) thinking to sexual subjects like the age of consent. And he likes to break down taboos and expose them for what they are, basically cultural constructions, and I guess that’s what the shit-eating is about?
Anyway, below, you can listen to him explain that he is not, in fact, on drugs, he’s just has “an easily excitable personality.” And he’s maybe not, er, mentally ill, although he won’t say that he’s not exactly, because he says mental illness is “highly subjective.”
Also, below, he explains gay-for-pay performers thusly: (I’m paraphrasing) Working in straight porn when you’re a straight man is all fine and you get paid for it, but it’s like getting paid a little bit of money to eat your favorite food, say strawberries, on camera, versus getting paid a lot of money to eat your own poop. So, wait, that’s what the shit-eating was about? It’s a metaphor about what gay sex is like for him? Terrific.
I really wish he’d just go back to juggling with an erection or getting fucked by Andrew Stark.
