James Franco To Australia: Un-Ban I Want Your Love

Having become friends and partners with I Want Your Love director Travis Mathews, James Franco recorded the below defense of the NakedSword-produced feature, which was recently banned from an Australian film festival.

Franco’s defense of NakedSword’s I Want Your Love, which was met with near universal acclaim during its extensive festival run throughout 2012, also does a good job addressing the larger issue of free speech—particularly when that speech involves the depiction of sex. On the one hand, why is Australia so stupid? And yet on the other, a film being banned is always good for publicity, so thanks, Australia.

Regardless of whether or not the Australian film board listens to James Franco, they can’t stop anyone from watching I Want Your Love. Starting today, it’s now playing exclusively on NakedSword. And tomorrow, it’ll be available on DVD.

  1. He’s been looking really old with those crow feet, but in this video, he’s managed to look 10 years younger. I can’t decide yet, whether i like Franco or not.

  2. I must say for someone who is straight he has an overwhelming interest in gay culture, a large amount of projects
that he has done have been gay related.

    1. I doubt he’s str8. He’s like heteroflexible.
I think he’s an open minded kinda guy like if he were to find love and it just happened to be with a guy he wouldn’t deny it. I think he can find beauty in men as well as women.
