High-Grade Pot May Cure ‘Gay Staph’

The antibiotic resistant strain of MRSA received sensational headlines in January
after reports by the CDC of sexually transmission between significant
numbers of gay men in Boston and San Francisco. Later, the CDC issued a
coda that attempted to calm the mini-panic by suggesting MRSA could be
washed off with soap and water between tricks.

Don’t get out the bong just yet — scientists treated the MRSA skin
infection with topical preparations of non-pyschotropic cannabinoids, not
by exchanging shotguns while listening to late-period Supremes. Regardless, we’ll be on the couch using vodka to combat Gay Ennui.
