Gay Chicago Magazine to Cleanse Its Pages of Porn

Beloved porn reviewer JC Adams of Gay Porn Times reported today that his long-running column with Gay Chicago was dropped “without warning,” and that all porn reviews will be cleansed from the rag as well. The Grabby Awards–traditionally hosted by the magazine and still slotted to happen in late May–will, according to Grabbys producer Mark Nagel– become an independent entity.

Founded in 1972, Gay Chicago Magazine has always told Windy City fags where to party, remaining sex-positive even during the AIDS epidemic. They later started the Grabbys–which are to the GayVNs sort of what the Golden Globes are to the Oscars, only it’s Chicago-based and not foreign press who choose the winner of Hottest Cock.

So it saddens us to hear that the magazine’s new publisher is removing its finger from the loosened anuses of porn-happy gays and shoving it, perhaps, into the tight sphincters of those who would rather have sex on a sofa than in a stall.

Our calls for greater explanation have, so far, gone unanswered by Gay Chicago. Is it because we’ve got porn on our breath?
