Gallery: Tony Ward and Francois Sagat in Bruce LaBruce’s ‘Untitled Hardcore Zombie Project’
The Sword had the scoop last week, without much photographic evidence. The actual film, as yet untitled, will be shooting in L.A. in August, but before then — from now until June 27th — LaBruce’s art exhibit “Untitled Hardcore Zombie Project” is on view at Peres Projects (2766 S. La Cienega, L.A.). The show appears to be a series of sets and videos that are like visual studies for the film, including Francois’ screen test, and the blood spattered motel room shown below which is a piece entitled “Motel Hell.”
It all adds up to something way pornier, and more exciting than last year’s Otto: Or Up With Dead People, where LaBruce first began exploring the whole zombie sex idea, but more with a twink angle.
