Fight! Men Of Porn Accuses Queer Click Of Plagiarizing Little Red Arrow

A blog war that The Sword isn’t involved in? I’m jealous.

In a Men Of Porn post titled “Why Would Queer Click Do This?“, Men Of Porn accuses Queer Click of stealing his story and using his photos. The story in question has something to do with gay porn star Andrew Stark’s straight porn scene from five years ago, so this is obviously a really fucking big deal, you guys.

Why would Queer Click do this?

I admit two blogs can come up of the same idea and post it at the same time or a few days apart. I posted the horrible experience of Andrew Stark last February 07, 2013. Today, Queerlick posted the same idea on their blog.

Two blogs can crop the same image. But, using the same images that I myself cropped, underlined and added an arrow using Paint Shop is too much. We even had the same cropped three images from a VIDEO preview at Straight Boys Fucking.

Men Of Porn’s blogger has always been good about attributing and linking back to other blogs in his blog posts, so it is a true tragedy to see something like this happen to him, especially at the hands of a big blog like Queer Click, who should know better. Then again, Men Of Porn also ran an awful blog post last year with a poll asking if gay porn stars should have their HIV statuses revealed, so fuck Men Of Porn.

  1. I’ve always thought Queer Click has the best images and coverage – their range and depth definitely covers the most diverse gay porn genres rather than just the run of the mill stuff like most blogs. Sure, if you’re after some tittle-tattle, back biting and nasty gossip then Men of Porn is the place to go I guess ;)

It’s all rather trivial though isn’t it? I would have thought it far more likely that Queer Click has had more images, articles and probably ideas ripped off by other sites over the years rather than Men of Porn has. As an avid and long term gay porn blog fan I’ve never yet seen Queer Click complaining publicly on Twitter or Face Book about that.

I think that says a lot more about Queer Click than Men of Porn’s cry for attention/recognition.

  2. Men of porn has always thanks me when I shared something in a comment on one of their posts that they then shared with he rest of the blog so I take their side.

  3. What I love about fabricated “wars” like this where a blog such as “Men of Porn” go public to gain attention (and hence traffic) is that they’ve left themselves TOTALLY open to criticism for every story they may ever post again!

Let’s face it, next time they “break” a story they better be damn sure its not been posted elsewhere previously haha! And for that matter, they’re gonna have to make darn sure they don’t ever use anyone elses images as now the other sites/blogs/lawyers will be watching them VERY closely indeed! ;) I think they just made life a bit more difficult for themselves dont you? LOL!

Y’know, having read “Men of Porn” for a few years (and stopped), I found their cynical and sarcastic slant rather tiresome and boring – I know they didn’t have much humor to begin with but what little they did seems to have completely evaporated now into a sort of twisted vapid nonsense. Why would anyone want to visit a blog like that, I mean, seriously? HAHA!

Keep up the good work guys, love ya! XOXO

  4. Hey guys! Thanks for picking this up! *Chuckles* We’ve made peace with MOP – We’ve apologised to MOP promptly and added proper accreditation to the post. MOP has replied with thanks. It was a genuine editorial oversight with a new feature writer we’ve taken on board Planet Unicorn. He’s just a baby unicorn so thanks for your patience and understanding.

To our readers who’ve missed us or in stopped reading, I guess the good news is – YESH, QC’s back with investigative pieces! WOOHOO! – And we hope to see you guys around sometime! Happy V Day to everyone. Keep it together.

  5. Hell, I think the big news is QC ran a story. When was the last time they did that? They used to be the best at it; but now they’re best only for checking out the latest updates from various studios; not that that is a bad thing; but it ain’t journalism…it’s advertising.

  6. I have generally noticed Men of Porn to have a code of honor and ethics in getting things right and correcting errors. This includes some first hand experience. I have also seen other blogs blatantly steal from them.

  7. Both of those sites are silly with their fabricated controversy about porn stars using different names on different websites. No one cares!

  8. QUICK! Sniff Her Chair While It's Warm

Nothing excites me more than watching mangy road dogs battle it out for the last carcass scraps in Pine Apple, Alabama…er, I mean the world of online gay porn journa…omg, there’s half-a-huge roach in my ashtray…now, your Mama beat down who?
