Did The Former Queerty Blogger Suck Perez Hilton’s Dick?
Three years ago, Japhy Grant wrote a bitter article in Salon calling Perez Hilton all sorts of names. A couple years later, Japhy took over Queerty, but he got laid off soon after. To kill time in his unemployment, Japhy has been rehashing old gripes about his ex-friend to The Advocate.
Japhy stated this month that Perez “was scarfing down laxatives” years ago, and then he restated his story about how he had to explain what a blog was to Perez all those years ago. Below, the ensuing Twitter war (“Benoit” refers to the author of this month’s Advocate article about Perez):
We’re pained to see that Japhy has stooped to Perez Hilton’s level — not only by trashing him in The Advocate, but also, it seems, by sucking his dick. And to think the former Queerty mouthpiece once called us depraved.

I really enjoyed Japhy’s work at Queerty. Unlike Mr Hilton he took a stand from the beginning. But please now that I think of your closing sentence I feel all…well…not very well actually….
I can’t believe THE ADVOCATE put Perez Hilton on the cover with a flashy photo shoot.
Now that the will.I.am controversy has erupted, they had to update their site with one video of their editor apologizing for Perez, a new column denouncing him and headlining his cover story “Putrid Perez.”

I like the Japhy guy. Perez Hilton, however, is revolting, and I think most everyone agrees. I am BAFFLED that he would ever sleep with Hilton, but we ALL have a bit of shame in our sexual pasts. You know–when we look back and say “What the HELL was I thinking?!”
