Oddly, the news hasn’t made much of a splash stateside, but British and
Australian papers have been quick to note the more lurid details of the
odd couples’ appearance at power lunches with the television execs to
whom the couple is pitching.
According to The Daily Mail:
“Cher
has been accompanied at these power breakfasts and lunches by what, at
first glance, might be mistaken for a hulking and very masculine
bodyguard.
Closer inspection reveals this mountainous companion
to be her less-than-slimline daughter Chastity Bono, squeezing herself
uncomfortably into her too-small seat.”
Cher, who was famously linked with both Tom Cruise and David Geffen, may also help generate fresh show guests-by dating them.
