Never ones to miss a marketing opportunity, FDNY released their 2009 calendar, still pecs-a-plenty but this time their faces are in shadow to avoid another scandal. But who needs faces when you’ve got shirtless firemen!

Notice the fire image in the picture with the fireman raising a pole. The fire image has an eye, a nostril and a tuft of skin under the chin–just as if the fire image were an imaginary image from mythology! Coincidental???
